It is a flower, which occupies a great place in senegalese gastronomy. It is mainly used to make Bissap? a pink and sweet drink, well appreciated. Hibiscus oil, obtained by pressing the seed, is also appreciated as it ease and efficiently nourrish the hairs and dry skins.
Dertady Project
This project, it is before all, a familial story which has since a century, a strong link with soil. it is also the story of 4 cousins whom have decided to bring back life in this field and provide activity to the nearby villages.
About
Dertady project has started in 2021, in our familial field of Dertadi village. The goal is to bring activity to the villabe and to create a cultural pole, allowing young people to access new ways of expression.
